Bikes: Nashbar Carbon Road Bike, Trek 1.5

Absolutely love my Trek 1.5, couldn't be happier.

I'm actually praying I get a flat on my ride today. I'm at about 1000 miles on this bike, no flat, no spoke issues, nothing. So I'm definitely due for one. And I've got a century ride on Saturday. So, if I get a flat before then it will put my mind at ease a little bit.

I've got about 50lbs on you, so I'd say the bike is definitely durable enough for you. I did have the wheels hand tensioned.

But I would go by the axiom of buying into which LBS you want to support you, rather than the bike. They're both very similar in specs and made by similar taiwanese robots. The biggest difference between the two bikes will be the paint job and the stickers.
