Car salesmen bicycling to work? LOL. If I owned the dealership and found one of my sales people bicycle commuting, I'd look at their sales figures very hard and if they weren't the top salesman, I'd look for a reason to can them. You need to believe in the product to sell it.
Mechanics and other personnel, that's different.
I can see how someone could ride a bicycle to sell cars. I rode a motorcycle to work when I sold cars. I only had two non-functioning cars at the time and had no plans for repairing them. People need cars and someone needs to be there to help them get what they want. That's what I did. I wasn't against cars in general. Cars are needed by millions of people.
