Speaking of funny conversations. I wear a wool cycling cap in the morning, because it's like 65F in the building and I have very short hair so I feel chilly. Someone walks by, sees me in the cycling cap and ask me:

Him: Are you a cycler?!?
Me: Um... yeah
Him: Do you follow Tour The France?!?
Me: Um... nope

Aside from the "cycler" part, why is the general population assuming that if one rides a bike he/she must be following TDF???
