We've got a stable of bikes we lock up in our garage, but we really need to get organized. Now that our neighbors (with whom we share the garage) have gotten a few bikes, the situation is worse.

We're considering buying or even building a bike rack. Before I shell out money or start cutting wood, I'd love to see what people have done to store their stables. I'm particularly interested in floor storage solutions. (we live in a fairly safe town, but we lock the bikes up anyway, and some of the users might have a hard time hoisting a bike onto hooks on the wall or ceiling.)
