I've never ridden a bike in Seattle and probably never will. However, it seems to me the bike boxes are being implemented at an inopportune time, coming on the heels of the Mayors call for increased automobile registration and parking fees. It just seems that the boxes will be a visible affront to the motorists and may result in increased hostility towards cyclists. As I said, I have no personal interest in the situation and you all may have a different take on the situation.
