I saw this same setup last night when I was driving home and I can tell you that those little tiny lights get lost in the wash of the streetlights from the point of view of a driver - and this from one who looks out for cyclists in a cycling town. I could see his silhouette easier than I could spot those teeny lights. Best bang for the buck to be seen is reflective clothing and stickers. Otherwise use a killer light setup. Or both.
