One reason I pick up tools is I figure god may be providing them because I will need them soon.
One time I passed on a wood chisel, and sure enough, within 24 hours I needed one. (Never needed one before). Another time I snagged a car tire iron, and sure enough, within 24 hours I was using it to pry off hubcaps from my car so I could inflate the tires to move it at the landlord's request. (It was on a note by my door when I arrived home after picking up the tire iron.)
