While the geometry seems different so I can't compare, I have ridden titanium LeMonds (Tete de Course and Victoire) from the 2000-2001 era and they rode great. I believe the frames from that time were actually produced by TST (formerly Sandvik) who are based in Kennewick, WA. They also made ti frames for Mongoose and some other name brands in the past. Didn't LeMond have a custom program too?
