Geez, I wish someone would tell my city council that. We still have parking garages springing up like daisies while the city fathers content themselves with building a Light Rail Transit system that does not run where people actually live or want to go.
Most often, development will follow the light rail line. So it might make more sense to build the rails where you
want people to live and work, not to where they
already do live and work.
