I'm finding it hell to fit a rear pannier to the FCR 2 (Circa 2005'ish). The hole is there, but the ruddy brakes just get in the way no matter how you try. I've even tried installing different sized brakes, but there's no room. I'm going to use a couple of 25mm P clips and see how it goes.
I have a 2010 rapid 3 which I believe is basically the latest iteration of the FCR. I had a rack installed yesterday and the brackets were going to hit the brakes so my lbs bent to smaller bracketsto go around the brakes. My bike is locked up downstairs right now and I'm watching football but if I can get a pic of it, I'll post it so you can see it. basically there are brackets from the rack, connected to the bent in brackets off the brazeons. It works well and is nice and neat. It's probably std practice for any bike that has caliper brakes like mine.
