Hi Folks. About to pull the trigger on a used mountain bike. Either of these can be had for $350.

2007 Trek 6700
2005 Giant Rainier

The Trek seems to have slightly better components. Although the price make me fear that it may be stolen. I might avoid it based on that.

Any comments based on the specs would be appreciated. I plan on checking out both bikes.

I will be doing primarily light trail riding. Nothing crazy.
