Bikes: 2008 fetish illustre

My biggest testimony of the durability of modern carbon fiber is my mountain bike. Purchased no-name direct from Hong Kong via ebay. 19" full carbon fiber frame, weighs 1250 grams. I have beaten the heck out of that bike over the past year. Raced several times, endoed several times, crashed more times than I care to recall. Chain stays are all beat up and there are quite a few chips. The mountain bike is still holding up and I'll probably be taking it 20+mph down some rock garden this weekend.

If carbon fiber can handle this kind of abuse, we should have NO problems with our pampered road bikes.
