Rant: Cab Drivers ?

Ever get one that you just want to drag out of his car and pummel his stupid looking dumb@zz ?

Had one pull out on me from the curb without looking on an access road in front of a hotel (cabs line up on this road in this area) as I was cautiously going around several cabs. I can overlook the first incident as just too many people/vehicles in the area. So I'm riding in a gusty head wind, a North Easter that had me cranking a 46/16T gearing setup, I'm not really setting any land speed records and slowing down even more and then trying to get back to a relatively comfortable cadence in this wind was a chore. Then, after the taxi cab pulls out on me and I have to swerve out further into traffic to avoid that while braking, I get back over to the relative safety of the curb and the same taxi cab is now slowing down to what appears like they want to make a right turn into a hotel pickup/dropoff. Only the dumb@zz is crowding the gutter and then turns prematurely before the hotel pickup/dropoff to block me again by steering his front tire into the concrete curb (not the gradually leveled down part of the curb, but the fattest part of the curb). After this I just got frustrated with this idiot and got onto the sidewalk to ride. The spastic cab driver isn't done yet, he decides to pull out onto the road again and drives up another 100 feet or so and instead of going into the hotel pickup/dropoff, he drives past it and up to a stop light that changed against him. By this time he looks over as I ride up to the light and beeps his horn at me. I flipped him a finger and continued to ride on the sidewalk. Trust me had there not been any laws for protecting this driver's rights, I would've dragged him out of the cab and wailed on him with my u-lock.
