Manufacturing of the Caad10 frame is now being done overseas as opposed to the Caad9 being done in the US. Maybe what you head was related to this?
It's very possible. The source was a mechanic in a LBS I frequent and we spoke briefly passing each other in an elevator lobby. I may very well have misunderstood his comments. I wasn't trying to start "Yellow Peril" hysteria but he seemed to think it was important that I buy a Caad9 NOW.
