Here's a ride I did in Summer last year. It looks as brutal as the one you posted Terry. It's the annual Australia Day ride with around 2000 entrants. The fast guys will do it under 7 hours, I took 11 hours. The numbers are in meters. (x 3.28 to get feet) The total climbing is 12,900f.

Terry I would never attemp a ride like that solo. You must be mad.

Unfortunately my (Mac) doesn't work with my Polar so I can't show any current climbs.
