I have crashed a few times and you will lose ink. I have a spot on both elbows haha. However, wearing arm coolers (Google: De Soto Arm Coolers) ma help. The bigger issue is the sun and fading. Arm coolers will help with that. However, if you're a perfectionist you may not want to do it hah. Good luck.
