On Asphalt Nation, please be aware that on page 121 Kay (the author) states that the gas tax subsidizes 60% and a mere 12 pages later says 90%, but with no attribution. This is but a simple example of a book well known for being a little loose with the figures. You may agree with Kay's premise, and that's fine. But, still, her "solutions" are not going to be implemented in our lifetimes.
