20 miles is about an hour and 10 minutes on the bike. That's not much per week if you plan to lose weight through cycling.
I DO understand your position but it did NOT take into account the hours and hours I spend hiking as well, mostly with a thirty pound pack on my back. Time is the enemy (and a little ADD). I guess there is no other real equation though: more activity+less food = skinnier me.
