I totally agree with your decision to get on the bike. Both me and my father are like that: You need to either strap me down or knock me out if you want me to stop doing what I love.

I know its nothing like what you have gone through but once I got a hairline fracture in my foot. I was in agonizing pain just laying down let alone doing any sort of walking or even exercise. But that didn't stop me from going right ahead with my usual workouts.

You are an inspiration though to get back up from lung surgery and do that. Pain is one thing to over come. Major organ damage is another thing.

Keep at it! (Don't over do it though....)
