does anyone have any idea what this could be??or any suggestions where to look..it is really difficult since this doesn't happen when I am off the bike and I can examine so much while I am riding..
If you think it might be the freewheel, you could immobilize it. Maybe wrap a piece of tape over the outside of the freewheel and around the spokes on either side. Then it can't move while the wheel turns.

as far as info about the bike, to tell the truth I've got the bike from a friend and it is build by him but he is no longer here so I can't ask him brands and such..I believe it is a cup and cone bb, but I am not sure so sure...
