I just checked pinkbike(thanks for the heads up btw), but still don't see anything. most of the bikes on there seem to be in the $700-$1000 range. only stuff cheap was about $300 for used hardrocks etc. I don't mind spending $200 on a used hardrock, but why spend $300 on a used one when a new one only cost a little more? Also, and not your fault, i must be geographically challenged b/c i don't live on the west coast or anywhere near the pacific northwest or canada either.
i'll keep looking, but i doubt i'll find what i want. the local ads around here are usually for people cleaning their garages and the bike are 15-20 years old and were'nt good bikes back then either re: huffy, murray etc. I guess i'll have to get some wal-mart bike or something...it's all i can afford. don't bother emailing me and telling me to save more $, b/c I can't save more $. Most of the $ i make goes to help my mom, me, and my little sisters. Not a lot left over for "luxurys" like a mtn bike.
