I've seen lots of bad fashion fads come and go in my lifetime. Disco silk shirts, mullets, Members Only jackets, etc. These are all good for a laugh when you see them in old photos. Old tattoos are a different matter. That old faded blob of ink on your arm will not be funny, it will be a sad momento of your shortsidedness and the pathetic herd mentality that exists among young people (like you) today.
My gawd, you are a dumbass. While I agree that a lot of tattoos are ugly, I wholeheartedly believe in getting tattoos if they truly mean something to you. My buddy's best friend died tragically a couple of years ago and now he has a memorial tattoo on his back. It is meaningful and truly a work of art. If someone wants to judge him or accuse him of following a "herd mentality" because of this they can just gtfo planet earth for all I'm concerned.
