When I went out on Tuesday, a police car passed me. I little while later, while I was pulled over on the cycle path at the entrance to a park, checking my map, I had the feeling that I was being watched. I turned around, and there behind me, pulled over to the side of the road, was the police car - and the guy in the passenger seat was taking photos whilst his colleague (the driver) was laughing her head off!

As I had said to a friend as I was leaving her place earlier, I would rather people find my set-up amusing; at least I know that I've been seen!

On the rare occasions when I have to ride on the road and a car comes along, they go past on the other side, giving me a very wide berth.
