Wrong bike DannoXYZ, that pic is not the OP's bike. Pic was trying to show OP how the radius of the cage and that of the chainring should match.

FBinNY might be on to something with the bringing the rear cage in. I had bring the rear cage on my bike in just a tad. Though my problem was with the cage moving far enough out to not rub the chain in high gear it would also throw the chain off sometimes.
