-1C and a light head wind today, so I wore liner shorts under jeans, a headband for my ears, a light jacket and fleece gloves. I had to take the jacket off after about 5km. My long sleeve polypro baselayer is pretty good by itself once I'm warmed up. I was directly behind a diesel powered city lawnmower at one intersection, it took several blocks to blow that smell off.

On the way home I had a car yield the right of way to me, despite them being on main road and me at a stop sign on a side street with one foot off the pedal. Cars have done that while I've very, very slowly creeped up to an intersection. Its usually times like that where I run out of momentum before I remember to clip-out of a pedal.
