I mount my light with hose clamps, but, I have had a problem. I mounted it on the handlebar, and when I hit bumps, the light would jiggle a bit. After some months, the clamp around the handlebar would break. Currently, I have a fork/handlebar configuration so that I can use TWO hose clamps. The light is UNDER the handlebar instead of above, and there is one clamp to hold the light to the handlebar, and another to hold it to the side of the stem. Looks dorky but works.
