I guess my thought is - take all the recovery days your body needs. It needs them for a reason. I doubt the minerals will help. Rather, set some increase goals over a long period of time to gradually increase your endurance.

Folks liike Hermes and Allegheny Jey and some others willhave more specific advice, if you want to get into more "high-tech" training.
