Actually the magnetics are based on science and not total snake oil.

My wife suffers from carpal tunnel. A friend gave her some bracelets to wear but did not tell her what they were for or what they were, made a huge difference. She still wears them to this day, and it is true physiological relief not psycological.

I have aches and pains from too many years of destructive behavior I was working at a primary aluminum metals plant, we would go and sit near the hot pots in the huge magnetic fields at the end of the pots, after a 15 minutes or so your joints would stop hurting, it also played hell with watches, cell phones and credit cards.
