I was out of the country when that "35th anniversary" bike came up on ebay. The rims are not original, the saddle is not original, the handlebars are not original (and you would need to remove the leather to install the brake cables correctly), the headset is not original, the chainring is not original, the chainring bolts are not original, the frame is missing the chromed chainstay, teh head tube decal is placed oddly high.... It wouldn't surprise me in the least if this bike is not a "signature" model that has been repainted... Without checking out the serial number, I wouldn't pay a supplement for this bike over a regular De Rosa. As such, I think that the price is not all that far off.
The guy gets some credit, he probably bought two sets of chainring bolts to get the holiday colors. I agree, from the images, it appears non standard in a caution flagging way. Sometimes on has to assess these in person, images only show so much.
