Completely brakeless bike!
This weekend, I saw a guy riding a completely brakeless bike in traffic. As I first approached him, I saw his bike had track style bars and not brakes so I figured just another fixie rider. But then I look at the rear wheel and he has a derailleur!? So no brakes at all, not even backpedalling. I then proceeded to watch him coast to a stop at a bridge that was up. Unbelievable.
New hispster craze or just stupidity (or both)?
