AWS must be a beeyotch to deal with. My wife realizes I worked my can off for many years to get to where I am now. 60-70 hour weeks, plus my stuff around the house back then, earned me the right to ride now. Of course, I am not slighting her in the least, mind you. But, she has always had a 40 hour a week schedule, and it took her a while to get the fact that I had to put time in to pull a check.
I had a long battle of getting the Mr. to recognize that I do not have a punch-in/punch-out job. I do not have set hours. I work as many hours as necessary to complete a project. If someone hands me something at 5pm that needs to get done by the AM, then I need to work to get it done.
He's relaxed a lot since I started working from home because my work time got a lot more flexible.
Edit: I should say, except for when I'm out of town for a week. I think he secretly hates it, but he knows I love my job and he suffers through it. It's hard on him because he doesn't have time to shop or cook for himself, so he survives on whatever I buy/cook in advance and take out/fast food.
