I have a RoadID, but I got it as a gift and have a lingering suspicion that it is pointless. Is it really a common problem that someone has an accident and they are like, "who the hell is this dead guy?" I mean, wouldn't a license do the trick? It is just seems like such unbelievable overkill for what it does. I might as well just tatoo all of my information down my back in case anything ever happens to me when I'm walking down the street or something.

EDIT-- I see some stories above that make me STRONGLY reconsider the benefits (like if I fall off a bridge), but generally, I just think it is pretty freakin' stupid. Hopefully, i'm right (at least in my case).
