I have a Campagnolo drive train with an old Suntour 14-30. As others have said, 24 to 28 is very noticable. I was using a 13 -28 but not satisfied with the 42/28 on the hills. 42/30 is much better. I am limited to using the 30 only with the 42 because of the RD limitation. It does work for me, and very well. I just need to get stronger!
