I'm looking for a wheelset to put on a heavy older schwinn. Made for 27x1.25 wheels. I want to go with 700 for the new wheels.

They'll be used mostly for commuting but also some longer rides. Baltimore streets are awful so I'll take on a little extra weight for durability.

I want to keep it under $200. I shy away from the m13s because they don't say who built the hubs... I'm new to bicycle stuff, I'm thinking of getting the weinmann dp 18 rims with the formula fixed/fixed hub... Mostly because harris cyclery stocks a similar set for $70 more.

With my heavy frame and sometimes loaded rack, should I look for a 36 spoke rim over a 32?
