I wouldn't exactly say you need heavier rims, I'd say you need a set of sturdy built wheels with a high spoke count, such as the M13. I'm not sure if Scrod has 32h M13 or the 36h, either way, he's a big dude and it is holding it up for him.

I actually never thought of that. He does ride M13's also lol.
