I have used the Schwalbe Marathon in a 700 x 35 on gravel roads and found them to be durable and puncture resistant. They also had the all important reflective stripe on the sidewall. I did struggle with them if the gravel got very thick or loose though. Really need 2"+ MTB tyres for that.
