Did my first ever commute to school on Friday! 28 miles round-trip on mostly uncrowded back roads with a few hills. With a little planning the night before, everything went great!

I allowed myself plenty of time to get there (in case of a flat, tiredness, etc,) and actually arrived about 40 minutes ahead of time. I probably don't need to arrive that early.

I pushed myself a little and was sore the next day... but it was worth it!!! I definitely need to ride to school more often before the cold Vermont winter sets in.

I got lots of support and motivation from Bikeforums -- everyone else seems disinterested or thinks I'm crazy!
