How many experts were predicting peak oil 40 years ago, and what time frame did they place on it?
I actually remember predictions back when I was a kid that we'd be out of oil before the turn of the century. Of course we made it past that. I'm not much of a doom and gloomer but that doesn't mean we won't have to make some serious adjustments.
