Bikes: Trek ST-120; Jamis Satellite; Miyata Seven Ten

Jspare - I used

on all the shiny parts. This stuff is awesome! Apparently its been around forever but it's new to me.

WTgrantham - Working on a profile shot...my backdrop was not big enough for the whole bike. Didn't know until after I took everything down that my wife told me that she has a huge black backdrop that is big enough.....so.....probably tonight or tomorrow I will shoot a few profile shots and what not and post them on here. I like the shots I posted...kind of artsy but I agree, nothing beats and great profile of the whole bike to give one a sense of it.

Grand - nice. You gave me a chuckle about how it's all ruined cause the cable is routed on the off side rather than the drive side. I personally wanted the drive side to be a 'clean' as possible...if there' is an 'etiquette' to cable routing, it escapes me....sorry.

David - No touch up paint. In my humble opinion, the original was far too scratched and ragged looking.... here's a few to show what I was working with. Keep in mind, these are AFTER I polished the paint with a rubbing compound....it was covered in white over spray of some sort when I brought it home. A lot of these scratches were down to bare metal.

Cyclo - I had the frame and fork bead blasted and powder coated with "Bengal Tiger Red". It was the closest red I could find in powder that wasn't going to cost me and arm and a leg.
