is there a more wasteful $ to results ratio loser than bars/stems/seatposts??

I luv bling as do we all. My 5 bikes one a Bianci full carbon Beast , but some stuff is just Bling for bling sake. Bars/Stems heck goos aluminum weights what higher cost Carbon does....results = zippo...$500 handle bar $200 stem will not defeat the guy on the sette combo all things being equal.
Just wanted to rant
