New York City and its developing network of interventions normalizing the bicycle as transportation along the roads and byways there hardly deserves such umbrage.

It's great to see the boon to ridership as the the city works to bring greater liveability to the streets and make bicycling a more practical method of daily transport for all new yorkers. By most accounts it appears to be working.
