There was a time we thought we might cross Australia. Because our nephew wanted to retire there.. But, that is now unlikely...So that dream, sort of was on my to do list..?.
......Parts of the desert might be inhospitable. Like in January.. But, when the temperatures are at their best, isn't Australia pretty flat riding. Say between Perth and Sydney.? Many of us find crossing the mountains the hardest part of a tour. My impression, Australia's mountains are pretty puny compared to say the Alps. ?
