You bring all your own gear. The rides average about 60 a day, with longer days having less climbing. The hill on the Montana trip were real hills, and a bit of work, but mostly due to the elevation. Our hardest day had 4544 feet of climbing over 76 miles.
This ride is populated with people over 5o. They aren't trying to kill us. Some riders take it very slowly, others fly. But it is all in do-able range.
