Reviewing my settings page.. found this nice endorsement of the Gruv 2 above. Yes.. it is a great bike.. especially for that low investment.
Summer found me very busy.. and with little time to ride the Gruv. Put into service in April I've only 440 miles on it... barely a warm up..

. I rode the same route as my previous ride with the Schwinn.. 20 miles in same time.. same conditions. If anything.. just a little faster with the Gruv as I took a few instances to allow blood flow to that critical area. Average speed was 13.75 mph for each bike.
I saw a Trek Pure in a shop a few days ago... lacked the 24 speed gearing of the Gruv 2.. design looked to me
identical. Overall a near carbon copy of the Gruv... not sure if the component set matches up to the Gruv 2.
Seat.. that is my issue now. Now enough square inches to distribute weight and prevent that numbness and lack of blood flow. I think the standard seat fine for most people... but for me in my weight class.. I just need a different design.
