Why do they do that then? I get a substantial increase in top tube length right now with such a long seat post, I bet about 1 cm more than normal. Would you then recommend going to a 74 degree angle if I go custom?
I went with a 1 degree steeper seat tube angle only because I want to ditch my straight clamp seatpost. I want my frame to be sized so I can use set-back seatposts.
What's the position of your seat on the post and what kind of post is it?
If your seatpost is clamped perfectly centered on the rails with your prefered seatpost I wouldn't change your seat tube angle.
