Lots of conflicting reports on Pasela tire sizes. Several posts in this thread says that mounted Pasela's tend to run LARGER than their listed size.
In contrast, a different bikeforums thread, with several posted measurements (including some bySheldon Brown), says that mounted Pasela's tend to run SMALLER than their listed size.

I'm about to replace some 27 x 1 1/4 Serfas Seca tires on a commuting bike with fenders. The worn Serfas fit OK, but have measured widths of 28 mm instead of 30 mm. I was planning to order 27 x 1 1/4 Pasela's (non tourguard), which according to the other thread linked above, would probably also end up running a little small. If the mounted Pasela widths end up being substantially wider than 28-30 mm, I may also have a problem fitting beneath the existing fenders. However given all the variables of different rim sizes, kevlar vs. steel bead models, tourguard vs. non tourguard versions, 700C vs. 27 inch models, and even changes in product over time, I think the only way to find out is going to be to order them, mount them, and see.
