About 1000' into my pre-ride of the USGP course yesterday, I must have hit a thorn/rock/nasty root. Quick deflate and just enough time to run the LONG distance back to the car for a backup clincher.

I've tried the sealant with no luck, puncture is sort of like when a windshield gets it by a rock. Not a slice, but a star burst. So now that I've loss a $100 tire, and another $20 of sealant, any way to patch it on the inside from the outside? I doubt it, but thought I would ask.

Fun day at the USGP, tough course, just turning out to be a bit expensive.
