Back in the summer of 2006 I was on a hitting streak so to speak as far as finding cheap old Raleighs. I picked up a red 1976 Grand Prix $1, a late 70s Super Course for $20 and this Sports model for $15. I've seen a couple online like it but not many as most were 3 speeds and did not have drop bars. I posted about it back then on roadbikereview and got some information towards dating it. I'm on this site more now and thought you all might like to see it. Here are some pictures I took back when I got it (it sits unchanged as I do not ride it). I believe everything but the hideous cheap replacement tires is original. I need to really start looking for a frame pump and light to make this bike complete.
