Nah, pads are evenly spaces and nothing was hit, it exists on both sides, there are just not "matching", meaning that it wasn't from isolated/individual brake grabs...it's like it just wore through. it's obviously in the brake track, and not limited to the "big ones". Usually on abused/overheated rims, the carbon will warp. There is no warping or structural damage..
I'll take it into the shop. Should be a warranty issue.
