The belt drive also has great appeal to me because of the lack of a greasy chain, though I would be concerned about energy efficiency (hysteresis). Has anyone here ridden a belt drive? Are you able to comment on it?

With a Shimano 11 speed or a Rolhoff, who needs a triple crank!
